Your premium tools are safe with us. We don’t use aggressive, dry grinding wheels that run red-hot, ruin the metal’s temper, and grind away vast amounts of your steel. Instead, our professional process relies on true Swedish precision:
- Water-Cooled Wetstones: We use top-of-the-line, specially made rotating wetstone sharpeners imported from Sweden. These feature the highest quality fine stone composite wheels. The constant water cooling completely eliminates friction heat, ensuring your blade steel will never lose its factory-hardened tempering qualities.
- Precision Jig Holders: Our specialized knife, scissor, and tool jigs lock your blades into the perfect configuration. This allows for dead-accurate reshaping and sharpening, letting us replicate or restore any exact angle to return cutting edges to their former glory—and sometimes even sharper than a factory edge.
- Longer Blade Life: From repairing and reshaping to sharpening and final honing, our fine-grit system removes only the absolute minimum, microscopic amounts of metal required to create a superior edge. This protects the integrity of your steel and drastically prolongs the working life of your knives and tools with zero scoring or scratching on the sides of the blades.
